July 4th Drone Flight
The 4th of July is a time for celebration and time to take the reliable DJI Phantom 4 on a flight over the neighborhood to capture all of the patriotic fireworks in the community. This video shows the enormous amount of fireworks in San Antonio, TX on July 4th. At one point, the video I captured reminded me of the Iraqi Military shooting at Stealth Planes back during the first Iraq War.
One of the challenges recording video during the 4th of July is all of the fireworks! Also, I did not want my $1500 drone hit by fireworks so I took the drone up to 560ft. At this altitude, I was pretty certain no fireworks would hit my drone. I did have one or two close calls!
Next year, I will try to get close to a large fireworks show and take some better footage for you to enjoy. In the meantime, here is what I gathered.
The DJI Phantom 4 is such a pleasure to fly. I have many different drones to choose from. However, my favorite is the DJI Phantom 4.
